Why Work With A Credit Union?
Members, Not Customers
Northwest Community Credit Union is a non-profit cooperative owned by our members. Every dollar you put into your savings or checking account acts as a share of “stock” in the credit union. Unlike a bank, our business profits are redistributed back to our members based on your share of the credit union’s total assets.
Federally Insured Up to $250,000, Just Like a Bank
As a state chartered credit union, our members’ accounts are insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), a federal agency that supervises credit unions across America. Like the FDIC does for banks, the NCUA insures the money you keep in a credit union up to at least $250,000.
Serving All Your Financial Needs -- With a Personal Touch
Northwest Community Credit Union is committed to delivering a wide range of services to meet your financial needs. We provide most services you’ll find at any bank. Where we’re different is our personalized attention to service. As a member, you’ll receive professional advice and consultation from our staff when you need it and a friendly “hello” every time.
